Lantern Tour Package
Experience Howe Caverns in a different light...
...the way Lester Howe and his guests first saw it in 1842 - by lantern light! All Lantern Tours begin in the museum area with an extensive history. Then you will be guided through the caverns under the full beauty of the lights, to the underground lake where torches and lanterns are lit. The remainder of the tour will be by lantern light, enjoying the mystique of the caverns in a manner similar to the way the early visitors did.
Lantern Tours are offered Friday and Saturday evenings, year-round and Sunday evening during July & August. The tour lasts approximately 2 hours. Tours are limited to 12 guests and advance reservations are required. All participants must be age 16 or older, with 16 and 17 year-olds accompanied by an adult.
The Lantern Tour Package Includes:
- One night's stay for two at the Howe Caverns Motel
- PLUS two tickets for the Lantern Tour
