High Adventure FAQ
Is Howe High Adventure open year round like the cave?
Howe High Adventure’s attractions are only open seasonally (late spring through fall), weather permitting. Visitors are encouraged to call ahead if there is any doubt. 518-296-8900.
Can I just take one ride only?
Absolutely. You can ride one or all of the rides. There are a variety of ways to experience Howe High Adventure, including a season pass. Check out our prices and ticketing pages for more information.
Will I need any special equipment or apparel?
Closed heel and toe shoes are required on the zip line, ropes course and rock wall. Also bring a bathing suit or a change of clothes for the H₂OGO™ -- you will get wet! And, remember to empty your pockets!
Is the Howe High Adventure handicapped accessible?
You must be in good health and physical condition to climb up the tower for the zip line, to maneuver the ropes course and experience the other attractions that make up Howe High Adventure. However, the grounds and the picnic area are wheelchair accessible. And, from Howe High Adventure, there is a breathtaking view of the Schoharie Valley.
