Howe Caverns' group tours are a cool way to spend the day for students & youth groups, scouts, seniors and everyone in between. No matter how old you are, the group tours at Howe Caverns have something to offer. So if you're a teacher, scout leader, camp director, activities director or just the one who always organizes the fun, you definitely want to bring your group to tour one of the best Upstate NY attractions, conveniently located between Albany and Cooperstown.
There is so much to see and do while visiting Howe Caverns, including:
- The Traditional Tour of the caverns. (A 25 minute virtual tour of the caverns is available for those group members who prefer not to go through the caverns.)
- The Cave House Museum of Mining & Geology
- Howe Caverns Mining Company
- Scenic bike rides
- Hiking trails
- Other nearby Upstate NY attractions
And when you're ready for something to eat, we have our newly renovated Cafe with a wide selection of homemade soups, sandwiches, salads and much more. If your group has 25 people or more, we also have a variety of buffet and sit down meal options. After your meal, or just because, we also have homemade fudge, Starbucks' beverages, truffles and other delicious treats to indulge in at our Sweet Shop.
Group Rates and Reservations
- Group tour rates are based on 15 or more people in the group.
- While group tour rates include tax, tax-exempt rates are available with advance reservation when one person purchases all tickets for the group and presents a valid tax-exempt certificate at time of purchase.
- Group reservations are taken Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Simply call 518-296-8900 to book your group.
