The flooding in our home county, Schoharie, has caused tremendous loss. There are innumerable victims who need help to rebuild. 

We are accepting monetary donations in our Visitors Center to aid our neighbors. All funds will go to the Schoharie County Community Action Program (SCCAP). Please stop by.

"This is where we spent the day. You can not imagine the horrific sense of it all unless you see and feel and smell it in person. Once here you may sympathize, but you can't empathize... unless you live next door, and spent Sunday wishing you could bail from the same bottomless boat. The barn on the left used to sit on the foundation in the foreground. propped up by the barn is an 8 year old's playhouse, and laying on its side is a shed belonging to someone up the street, perhaps the same someone who also lost the swing set. With all that damage, you can imagine the condition of the house."
