Howe Caverns Café

Welcome to the all-new Howe Caverns Café. Overlooking the picturesque Schoharie Valley, the beautifully renovated café is open daily from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Enjoy a wide selection of items – from French toast to Paninis, homemade soups and desserts, and much more.

After Labor Day through early May, the Café will be open on a limited basis and also available for student groups, tour groups, banquets, reunions, wedding receptions and holiday parties.

Have a sweet tooth? The all-new Howe Caverns Sweet Shop is just for you. Each and every day, people come from afar and enjoy our delicious homemade fudge, truffles from Krause's of Albany, Pennsylvania Dutch old fashioned candy, Rock Candy, Giant Jaw Breakers and more.

And if you're the kind of person who likes a little java with your sweets, we now feature freshed-brewed Starbucks coffee, too.

We were featured on a special episode of Rachael Ray's Summer Vacation in New York (which originally aired July 2, 2010 on the Food Network) where Rachael & John visit Howe Caverns, took the tour and helped our Fudge Lady Elaine make peanut butter explosion fudge in our Sweet Shop.
